Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Thackeray are all set to battle it out at the box office. Both the movies are releasing on January 25 and the clash is going to be epic. But before release, things are getting messy. The Shiv Sena had tried to pressurise Manikarnika to postpone their release, but they didn’t budge! And days before the release, the makers of both the film clashed once again. We exclusively revealed to you how the battle between Manikarnika and Thackeray had intensified as they battled for better screen space. However, we can now confirm that they have resolved the fight.
In fact, the makers of Manikarnika and Thackeray have agreed on terms for screen sharing. As a source revealed to us exclusively, “Thackeray wanted a bigger share of screens. They were pressuring Manikarnika to give them all the single screens. However, now they’ve decided to divide the screens 50 – 50. Then again, Thackeray has got a larger number of single screens, while Manikarnika has got a better share in the multiplexes.” With that, the advance booking of the two films has also opened. Earlier today, Kangana Ranaut even paid her respects to Balasaheb Thackeray on his birth anniversary. The actress shared a video for him and we have to say it was a really sweet gesture.
