Is Uday Chopra suicidal? Actor opens up about his dark tweets!

Uday Chopra left Twitterati worried when he posted a few dark tweets! The actor, on Friday (March 22), posted a few suicidal  tweets that had everyone worried. He not only spoke about not being okay and failing, but also being close to death. These tweets left everyone shocked. Twitterati not only started calling for help, but also told him to hang in there. However, looks like Uday Chopra’s tweets were misinterpreted. The actor came out and clarified this yesterday (March 24), making all of us breath a sigh of relief!

Since then, he has deleted the tweets that he had sent out earlier. On March 22, his first tweet read as, “For a few hours, I De-activated my twitter account. It felt as close to death as I could get. Was phenomenal! I think this is a good option to suicide. I might be doing it permanently soon.” After his fans started being concerned about him and asked him about his well-being, he tweeted another message. He wrote, “Confession: I am not ok! I am trying but so far I’m failing.” But looks like all this was just his dark humour! As he finally clarified, “Seems like I tweeted something recently that got a few of you worried. I’m totally fine, its just my dark humour that sometimes gets misunderstood. Thanks for all your concern though.”

Uday Chopra has been away from the media limelight for a long time now. He has gone underground. Though he continues serving as the Director of his family-owned studio, Yash Raj Films, we want to see him on the big screen again. And we hope he doesn’t use this kind of dark humour again, because clearly, it wasn’t funny. It made us worried and it kind of mocked the ones who actually are depressed and suicidal.
