Anurag Kashyap’s upcoming production venture Saand Ki Aankh has been in the news ever since it was announced. The film, which is a biographical drama, stars two supremely talented actresses in the lead – Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar. Helmed by Tushar Hiranandani, the film went on floors last month. While Saand Ki Aankh looks promising, the latest update about the film is that Lipsa Acharya will be choreographing a song for the film. Since it’s her first film project, Lipsa is obviously excited and she shared her happiness via Instagram.

For those unaware, Lipsa Acharya was a contestant on the season 3 of the popular dance show, Dance India Dance. She specializes is Bharatanatyam which is an Indian classical dance form. After wooing the audience on the small screen, Lipsa will now use her dance skills to choreograph a song for Kashyap’s much-awaited production venture. Sharing few pictures from the sets of the film on her Insta feed, the talented dancer wrote, “I am blessed that the first film that I am choreographing for is based on the lives of two very strong and inspiring women of our country – @shooterdadiofficial @shooterdadi…And I am lucky to be working with two of the finest actresses of our country @bhumipednekar @taapsee.
