The actor had also co-written a book titled The Kiss of Life: How A Superhero and My Son
Defeated Cancer along with Bilal Siddiqi. “We (Emraan’s wife Parveen and he) thought it
(the tumour) was putting on weight and I think the first thing we felt was a feeling of guilt.
He was 3 years, 10 months then, and we’ve made the choices for this kid, and where did we
go wrong?” Emraan said in an earlier statement about his son’s diagnosis, and the book
chronicled his son's struggle with the dreaded disease.
The 39-year-old actor was last seen in the film Welcome to New York and will next be seen
in Why Cheat India, which releases this Friday.
We too, couldn’t be any happier that Ayaan who is only at a tender age in his life, battled
this gruelling disease and came out a winner. Kudos to the kiddo’s fighting spirit, and our
heartfelt blessings and joy on him being free from the pain he had been enduring all along
his tiny life.
