Bollywood’s beloved actor Satish Kaushik has inaugurated a first-of-its-kind inflatable digital theatre in the far-off town of Sardarshahar in Rajasthan with The screening of PATHAAN. Sardarshahar is a small town in Churu district in Northern Rajasthan, some 285 kms from Jaipur. The town is known for its architectural heritage but lacks access to popular entertainment. Residents of the town have gone on without a theatre for the last fifteen years.
PictureTime, India’s first inflatable mobile digiplex, has opened the theatre in Sardarshahar with a run of Shah Rukh Khan’s PATHAAN, marching on in its mission to take cinema to the interiors of the country. A special show of the film was screened with Mr. Satish Kaushik as Chief Guest on January 27. The theatre has been set up in collaboration with Vikas Malu’s Kuber Entertainment.
Talking on the occasion, Satish Kaushik, Advisor, Picturetime says, “Being in the film business for the last three decades, I was thrilled to have inaugurated the new unit of Kuber PictureTime in Sardarshehar with Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster movie Pathaan. PictureTime’s inflatable cinemas have created a revolution in movie exhibition. They will be spreading their wings across Rajasthan and Haryana with more screens in association with Kuber Entertainment. Besides Sardarshahar, PictureTime has also installed similar theatres in Leh, Ladakh , Asidabad in Telagana abs in Arunachal.
