Varun Dhawan’s Coolie No 1 is not a remake and here’s proof

Varun Dhawan is at the highest peak of his career right now. He has always chosen his film wisely and has won the audience’s heart with each of his characters. And it looks like there is no stopping for the Kalank actor now. varun, who already has two films in his bucket and confirmed his third project as well. We exclusively revealed to you that Varun will be a part of Coolie No 1 and will make the official announcement on his birthday i.e. April 24. This news spread like fire and the audience has been waiting to witness a sneak peek of this remake. But before you get all charged up, let us tell you that this film won’t be a remake or a sequel to the 1995 Govinda and Karisma Kapoor starrer film Coolie No 1.

Putting a rest to all the anticipation, scriptwriter, Farhad Samji told that the film is neither a remake nor a sequel. The film is more of an adaption in a new format and has been written keeping the responsiveness of today’s audience in mind. But he assured that the film will be a large scale movie and there will be plenty of humour, colour and larger than life songs in the film. He even confirmed that Sara Ali Khan is a part of the film.

Before Varun starts shooting for this film, he will be seen in Karan Johar’s Kalank. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha and Madhuri Dixit and is produced under the banner of Fox Star Studios, Dharma Productions & Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The film is slated to release on April 17. He will also be seen in Remo D’Souza’s Street Dancer 3D alongside Shraddha Kapoor.
