While Aamir Khan has been in the spotlight with his director Svati Chakravarty promoting his production Rubaru Roshni that will premiere on television soon, we couldn’t help but notice that the film’s other producer, Kiran Rao has been missing in action from active promotions. An insider has revealed that the filmmaker is actually busy flying in and out of Goa these days.
You see the couple has recently bought a new house in Goa and Aamir has entrusted the complete work of doing up the new house to his wife Kiran. The insider says, “Aamir and Kiran have recently purchased a beautiful house in Goa and and he has entrusted the house in Kiran’s care for doing the interiors as well as redecorating it.” And from what we hear, she has totally immersed herself in this new project. The insider adds that both Aamir and Kiran were thrilled with the calm that the house offers. “It’s like a getaway without feeling away from home,” the insider says.
Meanwhile, their production Rubaru Roshni has been getting an extremely positive response from the industry, who can’t stop raving about it. Right from Karan Johar to Parineeti Chopra, Sidharth Malhotra, Ramesh Taurani, among others have been going gaga about it. The telefilm format is a first for Aamir, who incidentally has done the English and Hindi narration for it. Rubaru Roshni is being released in about seven languages across India and will later find its way to Hotstar. The telefilm will air on January 26. The film is said to be very close to Aamir’s heart and it was revealed that he took less than 3 minutes to agree to producing the film when approached by the director with the concept.
