If you loved the Khandaani Shafakhana trailer, wait till you see the second one! Yes, the Baat Toh Karo Trailer 2 of the movie is out! And we have to say it is interesting. Featuring Sonakshi Sinha, Badshah and Varun Sharma, the promo is funny in some parts and hard-hitting in others. However it does lack a punch! Directed by Shilpi Dasgupta, the film has an interesting plot, but its execution is a concern. Here’s our review of Khandaani Shafakhana‘s trailer 2. Read on…

What is the trailer about?

Taking cues from where the Khandaani Shafakhana’s first trailer left off, the second trailer adds to the excitement of the movie. A few scenes from the first one are kept, with a few additional scenes added! The promo does show us how the story flows, revealing how Sonakshi Sinha has to run a sex clinic for six months, to the cases she gets, to realising how disorganised it is and then having it shut down for running it without a license. We see the inter-connected relations of the characters, their personal struggle, their ambitions as well as people’s apprehensions when talking about sex.

Khandaani Shafakhana trailer 2:

Yays

The Khandaani Shafakhana trailer 2 has spunk. It has that entertainment coming in from Badshah and Varun Sharma, as well as a strong act from Sonakshi Sinha. It is entertaining and keeps you wanting to know what happens next. In fact, the constant struggle that Sonakshi’s character goes through is shown well. We even love the background score which holds the audience, but it is Varun Sharma’s quirky character who is our favourite. The funny instances in the sex clinic will also make you ROFL. However, the movie will be known for the message it gives out. How it tries to break the stereotypes and empower people to get out of their shell and talk about sex more freely.

Nays

While the second trailer of Khandaani Shafakhana is interesting, it does fall flat in some places. Some scenes look disjointed and we could have a flowy screenplay in the trailer. We also feel some scenes had too much over-acting, making us wonder if the film too will suffer because of it. Some of the jokes were not that funny, while a few punches didn’t seem that hard-hitting either.

Verdict

While the Khandaani Shafakhana trailer 2 is entertaining, we are still wary of the film’s execution. It is not so great that we get excited to go and watch the film. But with a great subject and message, it can get in the audience. It all depends on the content, so fingers crossed for that!
