Avengers Endgame box office collection day 4: Marvel’s superhero film stays steady; rakes in Rs 189.70 crore

Avengers: Endgame was one of the most exciting and awaited films of the decade. Being the last film of the very popular superhero franchise, Avengers, it had generated a massive buzz across the globe! But the craze in India was also unprecedented. So much so that, when the movie released on April 26, it shattered all sorts of records at the box office. In fact, over the first weekend itself, it raked in a humongous collection of Rs 158.65 crore at the Indian box office. With the first Monday coming up, people thought it would slip up. But the Marvel superhero film stood steady and added another Rs 31.05 crore. With that the overall box office tally of Avengers: Endgame now stands at Rs 189.70 crore in India. Huge, isn’t it?

Obviously, the part-holiday owing to phase four of the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections 2019 in India will have benefited Avengers: Endgame. But the positive word of mouth publicity as well as content has worked in its favour too. It will surely see a drop on day 5, but its first week will be huge! Directed by the Russo Brother, Avengers: Endgame released in 2800 plus screens in India. Earning such a huge amount through such a limited release is truly applause-worthy!
