Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s brother, filmmaker Shamas Nawab Siddiqui recently made headlines when Mouni Roy walked out of his directorial Bole Chudiyan. Today (June 20), the filmmaker is in news for his short film Miyan Kal Aana as he got validation from the Honorable President of India Ram Nath Kovind.
The director took to social media talking about the same. Shamas is known for making short films with strong messages and a social cause. Recently, while addressing both the houses of the Parliament on Thursday, President Ram Nath Kovind said that eradication of social evils like Triple Talaq and Nikah-Halala are imperative for ensuring equal rights for women in the country and Shamas’ short film Miyan Kal Aana also talks about the same.
